Fashion N the City gives Free Shipping in India. This is to maintain the service level and provide shipping on time to our customer.
Domestic orders (in India) would be processed within 24 hours and shipped through a domestic courier company.
Most orders are delivered to our customer within 5 to 10 working days from the date of invoice.
We are not responsible for any delay caused by any unforeseen time lags by the courier companies in delivering the goods to the customer, or if the customer is not available at the time of delivery.
All international orders (outside India) would be processed within 2 working days and shipped through an international courier company. Most orders are delivered within 10-15 days from the date of invoice to foreign destinations. Once the products are shipped from our location, we will send you the shipper’s reference number (airway bill number/docket number) along with the courier company details through email. You can track the status of your package through the courier’s website or by contacting their local customer service center.
We assure to deliver all around the globe at any postal address. Though we work with the world’s best courier services, still they do not give door deliver to P.O. Box address, hence it ourhumble request to provide us with a full street address with pin code/zip code.
It’s important to know that residential shipment to the USA, UK, Australia & some other countries will be left at the door if someone is not there to receive courier or no one answers the doorbell. Our courier agents USPS / DHL / FEDEX / TNT / UPS / SpeedPost, etc. will not be able to provide sign confirmation of delivery made in such cases. To avoid disputes in such cases, kindly make sure that someone is there to receive courier when courier delivery is attempted.
No deliveries are made on Saturdays and Sundays in most countries as they follow a 5-day work culture. In many Islamic countries, Fridays are normal off days. Some countries we can try to organize deliveries on Saturdays also. Deliveries are generally made during normal working hours of courier companies and these vary from country to country.
Please note that there are no shipments made from the store on Sundays and public holidays as our logistics partner, does not make any pickups on those days.
How shipping cost is calculated?
While calculating shipping cost, it’s just working on “actual weight”. We don’t apply to ship on product quantity, but charges are applied to its weight. You will get the benefit of reduced shipping cost on each additional item, as the more will be the weight of the parcel, less charge will be applied per kg. We have fair & transparent shipping rates.
In short shipping rates are weight based. Weight of any product can be found on its detail page. To match the policies of the courier companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next 500 grams.
Shipment and tracking details
We will send you an email / SMS regarding the shipment of your order, as soon as the items are handed over to the Courier. These emails / SMS will contain the Tracking Number and Courier Company’s website link. Tracking numbers for orders shipped might take 24 business hours to become active on the courier websites. You may also check the same on our order status page or by logging in to the My Account section on our site.
Many customers ask for packing to avoid damage of products. Our procedure includes packing each product in a polythene bag and then after we put it in a box. For some special requirements, please inform us at firstname.lastname@example.org
